In this course, an experienced academic librarian will share strategies for getting students engaged in the art of library research. He’ll provide a balanced approach to information literacy instruction, which will include games, active learning, and other ways to use media literacy to help students enjoy their time in the library. Topics covered include: Week One: Teaching Library Research Strategies Week Two: Understanding Information Literacy Week Three: Knowing Your Audience Week Four: Designing Engaging Learning Experiences Week Five: Developing your Style Week Six: Creating your List of Strategies.
